Thursday brought a trip to Sevilla (Seville). Sevilla is the capital of Andalusia. Along the way, we stopped by a winery for a tour and a little tasting. In Sevilla, we took a walking tour of the city and the Jewish Quarters before going to a Flamenco show where we sat right next to the stage. We could easily see the anguished expressions of the vocalist and watch the fast-moving fingers of the Flamenco guitarist. We could also watch the amazingly fast feet of the male and female dancers, who were almost close enough to us to touch. The entire group was amazing! We are spending the night here in Sevilla, and tomorrow will investigate the Cathedral, which is the third largest Christian cathedral in the world. We will also make our final preparations for the Camino.

I hope you closely watched the dancing so you can demonstrate the Flamenco.
ReplyDeleteIs Sevilla cathedral considered a mega-church? I'm sure you will be looking up most of the time in the cathedral. Should be very special.
